Big Hole Retreat
Description

Big Hole Retreat

This fishing retreat near the Big Hole River was created for an avid fisherman’s family and friends. The client, a wealth manager from Bel Air, chose to retain and remodel the main home to better reflect the family’s informal lifestyle. A devoted family man and angler, the home and two guest cabins feature traditional textiles and furniture that convey sense of a rich history. The ranch manager, whose family originally homesteaded the land, still lives and works on the property. All three structures sit temptingly near the tranquil waters of the Big Hole River. This project is on the cover of the published design book, Cabin Style.
