Established in 1995, Laura Fedro Interiors is a full-service, high-end interior design firm that crafts space solutions, both architectural and decorative, for residential and commercial clients. Based in Bozeman, Montana, we are committed to creating distinctive, enduring, and highly personalized spaces by listening closely to our clients, engaging with them completely, and pursuing their vision every step of the way.
Our Team
Laura Fedro has designed residential and commercial interiors since 1985. Since relocating to Bozeman in 1992, her design studio has crafted some of the most familiar interiors in the city of Bozeman and beyond. A brief overview of her work includes the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport; Bozeman Public Library; the ski lodges at Bridger Bowl; the Lodge at Big Sky; the Bozeman Daily Chronicle; Bitterroot Capitol Investors; the state of Montana offices of Browning Kaleczyc Berry & Hoven; the White Sulphur Springs Library, among many residential, resort and ranch properties within Montana. Prior to moving to Bozeman, her professional background encompassed work on the east and west coasts, beginning in San Francisco, continuing to New York City, New Haven, Connecticut, and Los Angeles, California. She apprenticed with some of the nation’s best design firms, such as Skidmore Owings and Merrill, and Herb Newman and Associates.

Riley is a Colorado native, and has made Bozeman her home for the last 11 years - and hopes to enjoy many more in the Gallatin Valley. With a sequential degree first in Architecture and then in Interior Design, she has found interior design to be the perfect marriage of space planning and material exploration. She believes that thoughtful, sustainable design can enrich our lives. This belief pushes her to learn new things daily and seek inspiration from nature. During her free time, Riley can be found exploring the outdoors: travelling, skiing, mountain biking, and camping with her husband Cooper and dog, Leroy.

Jess Engel was intrigued by design at a young age and how design could emit a particular feeling. She always knew that she would grow up and become an interior designer. Jess graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Miami University in Ohio. She has a diverse background ranging from coastal design in Nantucket, to modern design in the Midwest. Jess and her husband moved to Bozeman a couple of years ago to be closer to the mountains. Outside of the office, you can find Jess and Kyle on the slopes of Big Sky or exploring Montana with their springer spaniel, Thunder.
